Relaxation Meditation
With the rush of the week each day can begin to seem like a big
blur. The frantic fashion people live in nowadays can make people
feel that they are watching their own life from the outside looking
in. Human beings were never meant to live at the lightning speed
pace that everyone seems to think is such a virtue. Everyone is
overbooked, overworked, overplanned, and over scheduled. It's very
possible that some people never quiet their minds until they lay
down to go to sleep in the evening. But, this is a trick because if
the mind has been racing all day it won't easily calm down at night.
The practice or relaxation meditation is catching on with many
groups of people because of the mental and physical benefits it
offers. This act can be the focus upon one item to relax the body
and mind, or for some it can be a way to connect with nature or God. |
